About Me
I have been a University Assistant (postdoctoral researcher) at the Institute of Information Systems of the Vienna University of Technology since November 2014. Prior to this, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Oxford from October 2011 until October 2014. I received my Ph.D. in September 2011 from the University of Oxford under the supervision of Prof. Georg Gottlob. During my doctoral studies, I have made significant contributions towards the development of the Datalog+/- family of ontology and query languages. My main research interests are database theory with emphasis on query languages, knowledge representation and reasoning, complexity of reasoning, Semantic Web, and logic in computer science. I am a regular PC member and reviewer for international conferences and journals.
