I am professor at the Databases and Artificial Intelligence Group and am the Vice Dean of Academic Affairs for Business Informatics and Data Science at TU Wien. Before that I was a Senior Researcher at the University of Oxford and am still lecturer for Knowledge Graphs and Databases at the University of Oxford. I hold a PhD degree in Computer Science, which was awarded "sub auspiciis praesidentis rei publicae". I also completed Master's degrees in Computational Intelligence and in Informatics Management, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Software and Information Engineering.
I am head of the Knowledge Graph Lab at DBAI, a Vienna Research Group funded by the Vienna Science and Technology Fund (WWTF). I previously participated in the Heterogeneous Information Integration, the Decodyn, and the Service-Oriented Data Integration projects.
