Course Description

In this course, you will learn about the design, implementation, and management of database systems. Topics covered include:

  • Relational database concepts and modeling
  • Entity-Relationship (ER) diagrams
  • Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Database normalization
  • Indexing and query optimization
  • Worst-case Optimal Joins
  • Transaction management and concurrency control
